Thank you for visiting Christopher Wildlife Photos! I’m Dave Christopher the photographer, and my wife Kim is my travel companion and webmaster.
I love being creative through art, and my passion since high school has been expressing my artistic side through photography. Initially I focused on landscapes, but that shifted to wildlife when Kim & I moved to Maiden Rock, Wisconsin ten years ago. I’ve always had a love for animals and birds, and the Mississippi River bluff offers plenty of opportunities to see them. Initially, the goal was finding and taking close-up shots of wildlife – creative or not. Then, the challenge became capturing these animals in their natural element: interacting with each other, playing, hunting, etc. My goal is to tell a story through my photos. Over the past few years, I’ve taken my hobby on the road to animal-rich places throughout the US, and beyond. It’s truly a hobby that keeps on giving, and I love it!
